Tab Trade - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

His background tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

The FSRA Question

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not make it safe. But be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
